What this website collects, and why.

Last updated October 26, 2026

Who this covers

This policy covers the website yageltherapy.com, run by Yagel Therapy Services, PLLC. It explains what the website collects and what we do with it. It does not describe how we handle a patient's health records. That is in our Notice of Privacy Practices, linked above, and the Notice is the document that applies to health information.

The website is built and maintained for us by 915website LLC, which can see what the site stores in order to keep it working.

Please do not send health information through the website

The contact and careers forms are for general questions and job applications. Please do not put your child's diagnosis, medical records, insurance member numbers or other health details in a message. Call us instead. Messages are saved and emailed exactly as you write them. The website is not for emergencies: in an emergency, call 911.

What you send us

When you use a form on this site, we collect what you type:

  • Contact form: your name, email address, phone number (optional), the subject, the location you prefer, and your message.
  • Careers form: your name, email address, phone number (optional), the position you are interested in, and your message. The form does not take file uploads, so please do not attach a résumé there.

We use this to answer you, and, for the careers form, to consider your application. We do not use it for advertising.

What the site collects automatically

When you send a form, we also save your browser type, the country your connection appears to come from, and a network identifier based on your IP address (the full address on most connections, or the network portion of it on others). We keep these only to spot and limit spam, and they are stored with the message.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any host, Cloudflare handles each request to the site, which includes your IP address, and keeps technical logs for security and reliability.

Security check on the forms

The contact and careers forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from automated spam. Turnstile loads a small script from Cloudflare on those two pages and runs a short check in your browser. Cloudflare says it processes only the data needed for that check and does not read what you type into the form. See Cloudflare'sTurnstile privacy addendum (opens in a new tab).

Visit counting (analytics)

We count visits so we can see which pages families find useful and where they come from. We use two tools, Umami and Rybbit, that we run ourselves rather than a large advertising company. They record things like the pages viewed, the site you came from, and your device and browser type. They set no cookies, and they are set up not to keep your IP address. One of them, Rybbit, saves a random anonymous ID in your browser's local storage (not a cookie) to recognize a returning visit. We do not use them for advertising and we do not sell or share what they record.

You can switch counting off for a browser on the Stop counting my visits page. The setting applies to that browser on that device, and clearing your browser's site data resets it.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. (The visit counters above use browser storage, not cookies.) Our host may set a small technical cookie for security, for example to tell people from automated traffic.

Who sees it

We do not sell your information. A form message goes to the practice by email and is stored in a database on Cloudflare. It is seen by the practice's staff and by 915website LLC, which maintains the site. We may share information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it, and how to ask for changes

We keep form messages for as long as we need them to respond and to keep ordinary business records. To ask us to correct or delete a message you sent through this site, call or write to us using the details below.

Security

The site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and the stored messages are reachable only by the practice and the people who maintain the site. No website or email system is completely secure, which is why we ask you not to send health details through the forms.

Other websites

Some links, such as directions in Google Maps, take you to other websites. Their privacy practices are theirs, not ours.

Changes to this policy

If we change what the site collects, we will update this page and its date.
